Stay with Costarican family for a few days to understand better what PURA VIDA means. You will get a full service including lodging, freshly cooked meals and fruit snacks, an introduction to our local community, help and advice related to your travelling needs. We are conveniently located 1h away from main tourist attractions like Arenal volcano, Cana Negra reserve, Rio Celeste. Far enough from the beaten tourist track, but close enough for daily trips to see them.
Staying with a family will give you a good insight in a life of a Costarican rural family and community. We live close with the nature and our neighbors, spend time together helping each other and celebrating. You can get a share of this by staying with us for a few days and enjoying PURA VIDA.
We offer our guests a shared use of our house and private room with a bathroom that can sleep up to 4 people. You will enjoy 3 healthy and fresh meals per day and can learn about our cuisine from Gabriela.
We can help you organize your schedule during your stay with us and organize short trips in our community. You can see farmers produce cheese, breed cattle or grow fruits and vegetables. You can take part in the events of our community; festivities, Sunday’s holy mass, family events. We can show you the local sights; Junilama nature reserve, rivers, waterfalls and organize other activities like horse back riding, hiking, cycling, ….
We are conveniently located near Santa Rosa de Pocosol and from where daily trips to main attractions can be made. Approximate travel times are:
•Arenal volcano, 50 minutes
•Caño Negro reserve, 70 minutes
•Rio Celeste 60 minutes
•Sarapiqui, 80 minutes
