Hello and welcome to Canada! my name is Chris, I am a professional that lives and works in Halifax region. I live in a quiet neighborhood called "lakeside". I am on bus route # 21 and # 123 - bus stop is 10 minute walk from front door . I come from a large family and we are very close. I am the eldest of eight siblings. We have family dinners, BBQ and picnics together. I enjoy spending time with my family. I am very easy going and outgoing. I love to have my family and friends around. I do not have any children of my own, i do have two indoor cats Felix ( male) Bella (female) both are very friendly. I love to cook and bake and I am a very good housekeeper. I love to have a clean fresh smelling house. The furnished room 800 CAD with meals. It can be less without meals. I am looking forward to this experience. I have hosted many international students from CLLC language school, I can provide references if required. I have hosted students from Japan, South Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, I have hosted International students from Dalhousie University and Saint Mary's University .I continue to stay in contact with my home stay family even after they leave my home. I consider them my extended family and they feel the same. There is internet and WIFI is available, washer and dryer are on site I enjoy reading, playing games, trying new food, movies, I'd love to have a non-smoking, clean student come stay with me, and I would be happy to explore the city together. Looking forward to making life-long friends and helping you enjoy Halifax as much as I love living here. Pick up or drop off from the airport is also available.
