Hi! My husband and I have been hosting students in our home for the past five years from China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador. It has been a great experience and we love to share our home with new friends as we help you adjust to life in Canada. I have taught ESL in China, and now am a professional teacher here. My husband is an accountant. We have a 7-year-old daughter and a dog, both of whom are very friendly and love meeting new people. We have two student rooms that share a newly renovated bathroom and sitting area. Our home is a 20 minute direct bus trip from the University (Route 13) and close to a shopping mall and library. We currently have one room available for a mature female student. The bedroom is large, bright and fully furnished with double bed, nightstand, lamps, desk, wardrobe and bookshelf. Linens are provided. All utilities, high speed internet and use of laundry facilities are included in the fee, as well as three meals per day plus any snacks.
