Greetings! I have been an international host for over 20 years. I have had students from Norway, France, Portugal, and Japan. I enjoy meeting people from other countries and cultures and learning about yours as much as sharing about mine. I am excited about joining up and hope you will consider my home. I live in a 1440 sq. ft. home with three private bedrooms, one a master with a double closet and private double shower; a yellow guest room--both which are completely and beautifully furnished with a shared bathroom and everything you need from bedclothes to cleaning supplies and laundry. There are two swimming pools and a tennis court along with paths to walk on including the Fanno Creek Trail. I live right near two different bus stops that can take you downtown Portland to Portland State University in less than 40 minutes. I am close to a shopping center, Washington Square, restaurants, and many shops are within walking distance. Lyft and Uber, bus, and a light rail are available in mass transit and I also have a car. I am a retired elementary school teacher and love the Performing Arts, walking/hiking, swimming, cooking/wine, etc.
