We live on acreage on the border of Mudgeeraba and Bonogin. Our house is on one level, with large decks looking out over the valley. Many different types of birds spend time in our trees. Our valley is the home to the endangered Glossy Black red tailed cockatoo and we have a resident swamp wallaby who frequently visits.
We have 2 bedrooms available, both with built in wardrobes, desks, one with a queen bed and one with a king single bed. Both rooms look out onto the bush. One room leads out to a deck. The main living room is open planned with dining and kitchen in the one area flowing out to an eastern deck and a western deck.
We are a family of 3; me and my husband, Wim (originally from Belgium) and our 24 year old daughter, Alex, who is planning to travel soon. We will soon be welcoming a new Labrador puppy. We enjoy gardening, permaculture, the beach and bushwalking.. We are happy to host students of all ages, younger or older than 18 years.
We live in a beautiful bush setting overlooking a valley, amongst gumtrees and birds, wallabies and lots of other wildlife. On weekends we spend some time in the yard and also go to the beach and do bush walks. You will be most welcome to join in if you like.
Our home is just a few kilometres to the bus stop which can take you to Robina or Varsity Lakes. If you need to be driven to school or university I am happy to discuss arrangements. Internet and utilities are included.
If you want a peaceful homestay amongst nature you will love staying here.
