Hello We are a friendly and welcoming married couple now retired and living in beautiful and historical Waterford city, Ireland. I am originally from London UK and my husband is from California. I am an EFL/ESL teacher (cert) and I teach students from other countries online. We are looking for students to stay in our home to experience warm hospitality, beautiful scenery, rich and unique Irish culture while also improving spoken English. Your accommodation will be single/double room with private bathroom. Use of kitchen and common areas with breakfast provided. Also, internet, cable tv, washing facilities, private parking and garden. Every morning, you will receive 2 hours of structured English lessons per day. You will learn practical English conversation to enable you to communicate effectively in daily life e.g, shopping, eating out, travel etc. We can only host adult students not families or children. Waterford city is a popular tourist destination of great historical significance. There are many restaurants, cafes, bars and vibrant nightlife with many traditional Irish music venues. Transport links are available to all major parts of the region including Dublin (2 hours), Cork and Kilkenny.The surrounding countryside and beaches are areas of special beauty and the beaches are clean and unspoilt by pollution!
