My family and I live on the Isle of Wight. It is very easy to commute to Southampton and Portsmouth from where we live so would be a lovely place for someone attending University. It takes 1 hour to get to either of these cities on either the Hovercraft from Ryde or the Red Jet boat from West Cowes. We also have wonderful Secondary Schools and Sixth Form Colleges here on the Island. I have 4 children and they love having students stay with us. I am happy to provide meals for students but lunches out of the house will be the responsibility of the student. As I have 2 teenage daughters I would like to only host female students. We provide a very caring family home and our students have a very large room with en suite bathroom and excellent WIFI. We live in a lovely village in the center of the island and are a 10 minute walk from the main town of Newport. We live in a 6 bedroom detached house which is very private and convenient for all parts of the island.
