We are a friendly, interactive family. We have hosted over 100 students from many countries. We speak both English and Japanese at home. We like to help newcomers understand the language and culture here, so if you are coming from Japan, you can feel like you are living in an American movie with Japanese subtitles, haha. I am an English teacher and textbook author, so I can help with daily life English for free, or have intensive lessons for an hourly fee. Food is included, but provided as it would be for a family member, not a restaurant. We hope that you will participate in preparation and cleanup sometimes, and be able to cook for yourself when we are not available.
