Bus transportation is 2 minutes and available to downtown Vancouver, BCIT. Capilano College is 7 minutes away. Welcome to Vancouver! We are a friendly English speaking Canadian family of two, with one cat and one very friendly, well behaved dog in North Vancouver. We live in a house in North Vancouver and have 2 furnished bedrooms available with separate bathroom, laundry facilities and wifi, with or without meals. We have previously hosted homestay guests for three years, from Switzerland, and Mexico. Bus stop is only a 4 minute walk and we are on a very accessible and easy bus route to downtown and local schools. Capilano University is 7 minutes by bus or 15 minutes walking. We are 35 min to downtown Vancouver by bus, we are not far to BCIT and Simon Fraser University. We are surrounded by trees and beautiful landscapes. North Vancouver offers many hiking trails, Demonstration Forest, Lynn Canyon, Deep Cove, Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge and many lovely parks. We are a short walk to a two large grocery stores, movie theatre, two recreational centre's (gym's) (Ron Andrews Rec Centre with pool) and Parkgate Rec Centre) Subway, Liquor Store, Starbucks, and Restaurants. One guest room has a large window with curtains, a queen bed, a dresser, desk, table and a closet. The second room has a single bed, dresser, desk, TV, wireless internet, and laundry once per week are all included. Linens, towels, toilet paper and laundry soap are provided. We would like you to be respectful and to keep the noise to down after 10 PM. No kitchen use after 10 PM. No guests without prior approval. No parties and No smoking or vaping. $900 CDN. MEALS: breakfast, lunch sandwiches and dinner. FEES: $900/per month - deposit required AIRPORT PICK UP: YES (small charge) I look forward to hearing from you.
