Welcome to Canada!! We have the perfect home for hosting students. We have a 5 acre property with large floor to ceiling windows and 13 skylights that provide a lot of brightness. Our home is smoke free, and we welcome students from any country. We are warm family that loves cooking, eating, watching movies, and having fun. Our house is very large with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We are looking to host up to 3 student guests (Perfect for students coming together to Canada, or for a student who would enjoy being with other students). Our home backs onto a forest with groomed walking trails. We go for walks every day with our dog. We have a large, friendly dog who loves everybody!!!... especially if you pet him, feed him, or play with him outside. We are 7 minutes from downtown Newmarket and 15 minutes from the train station that goes to downtown Toronto. We speak English at home and we are happy to help with the language and culture here in Canada. In addition, I speak fluent Mandarin and my husband (who is Canadian) speaks fluent French... but just 100 words of Mandarin :). For our student guests, we have 3 large fully furnished rooms. In each, there is a large bed, a table, desk lamp, storage shelves and a night stand. 2 bedrooms have a walkout balcony and they share a full bathroom (shower, bathtub, toilet, sink). The 3rd bedroom has its own full bathroom with: a bathtub-shower, toilet, vanity and sink. We also have 2 kitchens. Our main family kitchen is where we prepare and eat our meals all together. A second full kitchen is also available for anyone wishing to cook or store any extra food or meals. Our hosting fee includes: 3 meals per day, WIFI access, washer/dryer access, and utilities. Walks in the forest, picking apples from our apple trees or feeding the horses next door are all absolutely free. Nearby schools include: Pickering College, St Andrew's College, Newmarket High School, Meadowbrook Public School, Sacred Heart Catholic High School, Sir William Mulock Secondary School, Aurora High School, Aurora Montessori School, Cardinal Carter Catholic High School, St Maximilian Kolbe Catholic High School, Dr. G. W. Williams secondary school Newmarket and Aurora are both very close to us. Short or long term stays are available.
