We started hosting hosting international students for almost 10 years and it has been a wonderful experience for our entire family! We all enjoy getting to know people from different countries and different religious backgrounds. '
We live in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The beautiful town of Wellelsey is just 15 miles outside of Boston. It is very safe and you can walk around ANYTIME(day or night). Wellesley has one of the best public school systems in the country, as well as many wonderful private schools. There are 3 colleges located in town, and all have excellent reputations locally and abroad. The prestigious Wellesley College is just a 5 minute walk from the house. Babson College, a famous business school is less than 2 miles away. Additionally, Lasell College is located in the neighboring City of Newton and is just a 20 minute commute.
Our home is just a 4 minute walk to the commuter rail. Once on the train it takes about 25 minutes to get to the city of Boston. The town center is also within a short walk from the house. It has a wonderful fitness facility, coffee shops, several banks, a very large grocery store, restaurants, boutiques, post office and more. The spectacular public library is also within walking distance. The commute to many of the well known English language schools ranges from 45-55 minutes. This includes CELOP at Boston University, Kaplan Northeastern and Kaplan Haymarket, EC at Fanuil Hall Marketplace and Embassey CES at Downtown Crossing. Talk International at Regis College is also nearby and is just a 15 minute drive by car.
You can enjoy being in our active and loving household with a private room or shared bedroom. The guest bathrooms are shared with other guests. Breakfast and dinner can be provided for an additional fee. We offer wireless internet throughout the house, a tv room with a flat screen tv. There is no smoking allowed on or near our proprty. Drugs and overnight guests are not allowed.
