We have one Bedroom Available , at our Homestay , Available Jan 1st ~ Located on the Upper Level of our home. One Student needed to join our happy Homestay. We currently have students from Korea . We would prefer to get another serious "Full Time “ student, presently attending Dalhousie, or St Mary’s University , or The Language Schools. Preferably someone that will be staying for awhile ,to pursue their studies. We are located on a very quiet street , situated in the heart of Halifax, close to the main Mumford Road Bus Terminal , ( minutes away ) at the the Halifax Shopping Centre . Then you're 15 minutes from downtown by bus , St. Mary's University, Dalhousie University, and Mount St. Vincent University. You also are right by the Halifax Shopping Centre (numerous stores) , Walmart , Shoppers Drug Mart . And only minutes from a great little park. We offer a great location . We run a very clean homestay with a cozy atmosphere for studying. Included : - A very clean house, at all times ( we like for students to keep their rooms tidy as well ) - 3 meals a day. Prepared and available for you, ( no matter what hour you come home ) - also lunches are prepared for you (most are a cooked lunch) - A private room - with desk, bed, dresser, clothes storage - 2 shared bathrooms - Laundry done for you - Wireless internet & Wi Fi - Very close to bus stop and 2 shopping centres We are looking for a long term student, who enjoys laughter and wants to share in a great Canadian family home life. You will definitely practice your English here. We are interested in taking in a student from another country, who wishes to learn our language and customs. We’ve previously had students from Germany , Korea and China, so excellent references are available upon request . We are looking for a student that is very serious about studying and adding to the quality of the family we already have. PLEASE NOTE we’re looking for ~ A Non Smoking Student Only . Sorry Parking is " Not Available in the Winter Time " - $800.00 per month. ( due the 1st of every month ) When contacting us, we please ask that you please supply some information about yourself . Where you are from originally . M/F , what you are studying, at which University, how long you are in Canada, what your interests are, likes and dislikes , food interests etc , thanks ! Also we would like to know of any health issues, that you may have . We have a small female miniature Schnauzer dog , who is very friendly. Generally 2 small dogs most days . Very quiet and friendly. We've had students stay with us for years and are still part of our International family.
