A warm welcome awaits you at our beautiful Oasthouse in Sussex, although very quite and tranquil, set in 18 acres of our own private land, we are only one mile from historic Battle High Street (the site of the battle of Hastings), 6 miles from the coast and 55miles from the centre of London, Gatwick, Heathrow and Ashford Eurostar are under 1 1/2 hours away and tranfers can be arranged at extra cost. My family consists of me and my husband Erik, my daughter Nowdla aged 15 and my son Matthew aged 11. You will have access to computers in the office, wii and x-box in the playroom, skyplus TV and a seperate bathroom. I walk every day in the wonderful sussex countryside with my dogs and enjoy homecooking for family and guests. I offer 1:1 tuition for 10 hrs per week and would normally reccommend that students stay 2-3weeks . Alternatively I find two students of different nationalities living and learning together really works and I would try and pair you up with someone with similar interests. I can offer sight seeing trips-London/Brighton/Canterbury/Rye/Battle Abbey and also activities such as Tennis/Golf/Horse Riding/Windsurfing/Sailing. If your interested just drop me a line. The charge for 1 week full board with 10 hrs tuition and 2 outings to local places of interest is from £500.00, other activities and transfers booked are an extra cost,please ask.
