Experienced and friendly homestay family has an opening as of December 15, 2021. We are a family with 5 young adults, plus one child, mostly working from home and taking on-line classes during the pandemic. We are looking for a student who will be careful about Covid and wants to spend a lot of time at home with your new in-house friends! We often go on hikes and outings together. One bedroom, shared bathroom, access to rest of house. Meals are included. Master bedroom with private bath available for extra $100 per month. All utilities, including high-speed internet, washer & dryer, and laundry detergent are included. Basic homestay includes furnished room, basic toilet items, and self-serve breakfast. Also included is self-serve lunch and dinner with the family. The first month fee for move in is $750. After 3 months, goes down to $680 per month. We are a friendly family, with 3 other college students living in the home. We have one dog and one cat. Lots of opportunity to practice English and participate in social activities. Video games are in the house and available for everyone. Security deposit is $250. Refundable provided that the student completes at least one 3-month academic term and provides at least 14 days' notice before move out. $35 fee for airport pick up or drop off. We are located 1.3 miles from PCC Sylvania. One block from bus 38 which will take you to PSU. A short drive to Lewis & Clark College. We have had many students from Japan and Korea and Saudi Arabia. All nationalities are welcome!
