We are an experienced host family. We hosted many International/Exchange students from all over the world: Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Korea, Germany, France, Kuwait, Swiss, Macao, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, etc. Come and stay with us in Waterloo! We offer the opportunity to experience and enjoy the hospitable Canadian culture in a friendly and safe home with lots of caring and support. We would be delighted to open our door to International/Exchange Students who want to study in Waterloo, to give them the chance to make new friends, becoming part of our daily family activities and gatherings. Our MISSION STATEMENT is to provide a "home-away-from-home" environment to our guests. We are a happy and helpful Host family. We are both mechanical engineers coming from England. We live in a beautiful house, centrally located in Waterloo close to top quality University of Waterloo, Laurier University, Renison University and Conestoga College-Waterloo Campus. GRT bus is just down the road and goes directly to Universities. Our home is on a large lot, professionally landscaped, has a well manicured backyard, English roses and colourful perennials. We enjoy cooking, gardening, biking, going to the movies, shopping, photography, entertaining, etc. We offer a great luxury setting, a caring and a quality environment. We have available one sunny and bright, furnished room on our top floor(not in the basement). The rent is $600/month and includes everything(water, electricity, gas), high-speed cable internet, laundry( Free soap, laundry detergent, softener), furniture, bed sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. Laundry facility and cleaning supplies included, as well as clothes steamer, iron and hair dryer. All bed linens, pillows and blankets are provided. We have included everything you need for your stay. Just bring your smile, an open mind and a good heart. Moving to a new country can be daunting, however we strive to make the transition as seamless as possible. In the end, happy memories are the best souvenir you will take with you when you leave.
