The Host Family John and Nancy are the Guardians of your children. John is a Canadian Chinese, and has been a PR in Singapore for over 15 years . He holds a Bachelors’s Degree in Commerce from Carlton University in Canada. . John has also worked in Suzhou , China as Principal of an International PreSchool . Nancy is a local Singaporean and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from National University of Singapore . Both of them have teaching experience and hold International Diplomas in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. They are the founders of one of the centers of a children enrichment programme, Tumble Tots, in Singapore. They speak both English and Chinese at home. The couple has a 14 year old son. 監护人家庭背景 John 和Nancy 是学生的監护 人 。 John 是加拿大華人，15 年前在新加坡认识太太Nancy 后，就移民到新加坡,是 這埋的永久居民。John 毕业於加拿大首都渥太華Carleton University的工商管理学士 ， 有多年学前教育管理經驗，曾應邀到中国 蘇州出任新加坡学前教育名校KINDERLAND 在蘇州的国際幼兒院院長。 女主人Nancy是土生土長的新加坡人，在新加坡国立大学毕业。Nancy 和John 均拥有教英語為外語的国際教學文憑。二人年前曾一同創辨英国国際幼兒潛能開發名牌 TUMBLE TOTS 设在新加坡的一所教学中心，二人均有丰富的教学經驗。家居日常生活主要以英語交流為主，華語為輔，这样，非常有助于提高学生的口語和听 办能力。他們有一個14歲的兒子，目前在附近的中学修讀中二。 John是TUMBLE TOTS幼兒潛能開發中心的首席導師，負責教授LETTERLAND英式自然拼读法，应用英式phonics和主题式全语言教学系统，培养儿童自主学习英语及英语文化的能力。在英国有70%的小朋友通过Letterland phonics学习，对英语读写产生兴趣，就连威廉王子和哈里王子就读的英国伊顿公学（Eton College）也把是否学过Letterland phonics自然拼读教学系统作为衡量申请入学学生自主学习能力的一个判断标准 We Love Kids and We Are Educators John is the head trainer when the couple operate the preschool children enrichment programme. He also has a Certificate to teach the LETTERLAND , a phonic based programme from United Kingdom to teach reading, writing and spelling to early learners Accommodations The accommodation is a premium flat with 4 bedrooms in Hougang, within 5 minutes walk to Hougang Mall and Hougang MRT , one MRT stop to Kovan MRT Daily Meals and Houskeeping The meals are served at dining room three times daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are mostly Chinese, Western, Thai, and Indonesian. Laundry will be collected once a day. The housekeeper will wash them in the washing machine. Except Sunday & Public Holidays, housekeeping is done daily to maintain high standard of general hygiene and cleanliness. Guardianship & Educational Services included: • newly arrived students are picked up from the airport • the guardians take special care of students whenever they become sick • house rules in place to safeguard student's safety and well-being • we will also instill responsibilities in the child to take care of themselves and meet the expectations as a student • We act as legal guardian for the students.
