Hello student, welcome to Toronto. We would like to have you in our home, you will be included and treated as a family member. As a mother with grown children, our home will be your home away from home. This room will be available June 1, 2023. We are an English family and have been doing homestay for approximately 10 years. English is spoken only in our home. This is a non-smoking home. There is a shared bathroom for the 2 students who occupy the rooms. Females preferred. Both rooms have a bed, desk, dresser, side table, lamp, mirror and closet. The rooms are on the second floor of our home - NOT in the basement. We are located 6KM from University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, Centennial College of Applied Science and Technology Campus and Pope John Paul Secondary High School. Centennial College, Progress Avenue and Seneca College is a bus ride away. A five minute walk from my home to the bus stop, one bus from our home to the Kennedy subway. Air conditioned and heated home, with laundry and wireless internet included. There is one very friendly cat in the home. Meals are breakfast, and dinner - lunch is sandwiches and optional for an additional fee. A variety of healthy home cooked meals are served in the evenings which can include chicken, beef, fish or pasta. I can email you the photos at your request. We are available to pick you up at the airport,(not in Winter) if requested, for an additional fee.
