We are a family in South County Dublin Leopardstown with two children aged 13 and 16. We have been hosting language students, students attending secondary school here and interns for many years from all over the world. Our room is available for the academic year from 23rd August till Summer 2015 to June 2016. Our children go to Wesley College and are both active in sports such as hockey and rugby. Our son plays rugby for school and Terenure Rugby Club and is just finishing his transition year programme while our daughter has just started and will be heading into 1st year in September. The house is situated in Leopardstown, Dublin which is just outside Dublin but on the bus route to UCD and City Centre and luas (tram) on our door step (less than five mins walk) and a trip to Dublin city centre takes 30 mins. We are also on a bus route to the city centre The house has all modern conveniences and wi-fi access. It is a friendly and active area with a playground for kids and green area including tennis courts and during the summer it is a very active area for students and young interns from all over the world.
