My husband and I are retired English teachers. We still tutor privately, and would be happy to include English lessons for our guest. My son lives with us; he works part time. We enjoy other cultures, and look forward to hosting a male from another country. The guest will have his own bedroom with a shared bathroom. Plenty of parking is available on the street which is well lit and safe. Meals are provided, and the guest may use the kitchen as he wants. There is wifi in all the rooms, and laundry facilities. There is only one bathroom, so morning showers are on a schedule, but the rest of the use is dependent on respect and consideration. We all work together to make this a happy and peaceful home. We are near Peninsula High School, Bishop Montgomery High School, El Camino Community College, and other ESL schools in Torrance. There are restaurants, shops, and coffee houses in the Rolling Hills Plaza which can be reached by bus, or walked to. Torrance Crossroads Mall has numerous small restaurants, a grocery store, and coffee cafes, and it is a few blocks away. We would love to hear from you. Please email us with questions.
