Hello there! We are a married Canadian family with 2 children (ages 11 and 14). We have been hosting students for over 14 years now from 11 different countries.We like to include our students in our family activities but we also respect that you may prefer to stay home to study or spend time with new friends you will meet while in Canada. We both have current Criminal Record Checks, which we can provide to you. We have both had extensive travel experience over the past 20 years, living in England and travelling much of Western Europe. We live in a beautiful and safe neighbourhood North Saanich, 20 minutes from downtown Victoria. Panorama Recreation Centre (5 minutes away) has swimming, indoor tennis, weight room, ice skating etc. We are close to the beautiful seaside town of Sidney, BC which has coffee shops (including Starbuck's), grocery stores, pharmacies, post office, clothing stores, book stores and many restaurants (including Subway and McDonald's). WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLY FEE *Beautiful large home with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen, two family rooms, living room, rec room with video games. *We can pick you up from the airport or ferry and bring you home. *All meals, Wifi internet, cable TV, linens and towels *Bathroom *1 minute to school bus stop for Parklands or Stelly's high school *8 minute walk to public transit to take you to Sidney or to downtown Victoria and area *45 min. bus ride to Camosun College or 55 minute bus ride to University of Victoria.
