We are an outgoing, typical Canadian family with 2 teenaged kids, 3 small dogs and a couple of guinea pigs. We live in a beautiful home in New Westminster, within walking distance to bus, skytrain, restaurants, shops, the recreation centre, parks and the outdoor pool. We are 35 minutes from downtown Vancouver by public transport. We are a very musical and artistic family and have a piano as well as other instruments that are frequently played and paintings always in process. We speak English, French and German and as a teacher I am happy to help with homework etc. We have hosted many international students in the past and respect your right for privacy, independence, and your own space. We are also happy to socialize and include you in activities if you choose. We offer a private bedroom and private ensuite bathroom and full access to the family kitchen, laundry, your own fridge, living room and large backyard. A private entrance, use of a bike and WiFi are included. We would love to include you in our busy lives attending football games and dance recitals, swimming, biking and skiing.
