Our home is in vicinity to San Francisco State University (SFSU) and City College of San Francisco (CCSF), as well as Mercy High School (Private Girls) and Archbishop Riordan High School (Private Boys). I am an engineer for 20+ years work for City of San Francisco. I've been in this beautiful city for 25+ years. I'm familiar with each street, all neighborhoods! Foods, cultures, building styles, especially the different styles of single family homes, which is not seen in China. I understand how students feel when they first come into a strange country, totally different life style, different system, different language, away from parents.... No worries, I can help, from daily living, to study, surroundings, everything, pretty much. I talk in your language, Mandarin! of course I speak/write English, as my daily work requires. My wife has a teacher background back in China a while ago, now work with Children at home as a licensed childcare provider. Our only son is grown up and lives in the City 10 minutes away. We have hosted students from China for several years until Covid-19 Pandemic started in early 2020. Everything shuts down, but now government declared it's officially over. As of today 3/1/2023 (same as 1/1/2020 due to pandemic), we have hosted 2 high school students from China for 3 years to study at Mercy High School, 3 College students from China for 2 months each for their intern abroad program at Yerba Buena Convention Center, 3 College students from Japan one and a half month each, they came to learn American life style and learn how Japanese Restaurant is operated in US...... A private bedroom and a designated bathroom will be yours during your stay, there are also pianos in house for you to play if you know how, both upright and grand pianos...
