Hello! We would love the opportunity to host an international student or two. We are in a city called Sooke, which is about 20 miles from Victoria. We live very close to the ocean and beautiful trees and mountains. We have three boys, who are currently aged 1, 3, and 4. We also have a cat and a large (very friendly) dog. We enjoy music, food, family time, walking, swimming, and movies. Our home is fairly large - we have a total of 4 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms plus a den. Our backyard is fenced, and on our deck we enjoy using the barbecue all year-round and sitting in the hot tub outside while listening to music. We also are very active with music, and have pianos and guitars in the house if you like to play. We also have bicycles that you are welcome to use to get to University or to downtown Victoria. We would welcome a student from any country and are comfortable with a male or female student. There is public transportation to Victoria from our neighbourhood, and easy access to Royal Roads University. Access is possible to the University of Victoria as well, but it is further than Royal Roads. We will gladly pick you up from the airport and make sure that you are comfortable. Most of the meals that we serve are home-cooked and we are open to trying other kinds of food as well if you would like to share your country's foods with us. We have two bedrooms available: 1 bedroom has a double-bed, a large dresser, a television, a side table, and a large double closet - this one is $550 USD. 1 bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a desk, a mini couch, coffee table, closet, television, and two small dressers - this one is $650 USD.
