Hello & Welcome to our home! We are a friendly, caring, English-speaking, Canadian family, and we enjoy hosting guests from all over the world. We enjoy hosting students (16+) and tourists for short or long term stays. We welcome children with their parent(s). We would like your stay in Canada to be as comfortable as possible & are happy to help our guests learn English & love learning about other cultures. We like to include guests in fun family activities such as going to the beach, barbecues as well as sightseeing and outings. Our home is in Prestigious Morgan Creek located in resort like community in beautiful sunny South Surrey. It is in a very safe, quiet gated Golf community (the golf course, tennis court & soccer fields are just outside our home). We are a short distance away from Shopping Mall, Library, Restaurants, Starbucks, White Rock Beaches, Recreation centre, Movie theatre, Olympic size swimming pool, Skating rink, Gym and bus stops. The ferry to Victoria B.C & Vancouver Islands is only 20 minutes away & the USA border is a short 10 min drive for trips to Bellingham, Seattle, Portland etc. The bus route is near our house and it is only a 20min. bus ride to Central Surrey & just 30 min to Downtown Vancouver from King George Station (with no transfers). For an addition fee, we can also offer chauffeured drive to the nearest Skytrain station. For students attending High School, we are a short distance from Semiahmoo, Elgin, and Earl Marriott high Schools. We offer very clean private rooms and a large separate student space with Lounge area, living Room and semi-private bathroom. Unlimited free high speed wireless internet are also available to students. Our home has a private back yard for barbecues & a short 2 minute walk to a large Tennis court & a soccer field. For Parents accompanying children, there are several Playgrounds just 2 min walk away. Your homestay fee includes all 3 delicious & nutritious meals, utilities and free access to laundry 1 X per week. Linens, towels and laundry soap are provided and your room is cleaned once a week. A separate living room and 1 bathroom is exclusive to students only. The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV and comfortable couches so you can enjoy watching TV, unwinding or practicing conversational English. We are always happy to help you with your English homework if you have questions about your lessons. It is a non-smoking home.
