We have been hosting International students and as a host family we always feel a sense of pride in sharing our culture to somebody from another country. We have a saying in our house " You enter as guest and leave as friends". During your stay, you become part of our family and our lasting relationship goes beyond after when you go back to your country.
As a second parent, we want to motivate you and encourage you to be the best that you can be. My wife and I migrated in the U.S. so we know how it feels to have a piece of your dream come true. Our home is close to Ocean beach, Fort Funston for hiking and hang gliding, Lake Merced for jogging, running, picnic and kayaking. 10 minutes to downtown San Francisco by car. Close to San Francisco State University, City College of San Francisco and Skyline College. Walking distance to Westmoor High School. We lived in a diverse and safe neighborhood surrounded by 3 shopping centers (Serramonte Mall, Westlake Shopping Center, Metro Center) with distance apart.
My wife and l loves to eat out for dinner, dance (zumba), and watch ball games. Countries we hosted: Brazil, France, Italy, Russia, Korea, Japan, Spain, Switzerland.
"Success is simple. Do what's right, the right way, at the right time"
